The organization
Lindströms historiska sällskap grundades i november 1994. 2021 träffades ett avtal med Chisago County Historical Society om att vara under deras organisatoriska paraply. Organisationens namn ändrades sedan till 'Vänner till Karl Oskar-huset'.
The vision
För att upprätthålla det historiska Karl Oskar-huset för utbildning om svensk immigration till Chisago Lakes-regionen i Minnesota och för att fira Nya Duvemålas koppling till Vilhelm Mobergs bidrag till den svenska immigrationsberättelsen.
